I really enjoyed my time at RCB. I got to meet many people during this journey and also made really good friends. I am specially thankful to my supervisor Prof. Sudhanshu Vrati for always guiding me and supporting me. I learnt a lot during this journey and that really helped me choose the right field for my PhD.
My experience at RCB was truly transformative, both academically and personally. I stood first in my cohort, reflecting the intellectually stimulating environment and emphasis on research. Winning an ideathon competition was a defining moment, showcasing my problem-solving abilities. My research on Parkinson’s disease-related proteins deepened my scientific curiosity and analytical skills, fostering a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and tackling complex challenges.
It was pretty much good in terms of academics .The state of art facilities RCB has is commendable.
My PhD tenure at RCB was enriching and transformative. The cutting-edge facilities, collaborative environment, and excellent mentorship fostered both professional and personal growth. I gained hands-on research experience and a stronger passion for a career in science. It was a pivotal phase in my journey.
My time at RCB was really enlightening and thought-provoking. With monthly seminars by top scientists and access to cutting-edge facilities, the research environment was motivating and cooperative. It is one centre for conducting a wide range of scientific and technological research. The university offers an on-campus animal facility where various model organisms can be used for in-vivo research. Good meals, a tranquil stay, and annual festival events like Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, Garba nights, Lohri and Christmas are all part of hostel life at RCB. I have made lifelong friends during PhD.
My time at RCB was truly special. It’s where I discovered my interest in research, made great friends, and had inspiring faculty mentors. The collaborative environment, mentorship from Prof. C. V. Srikanth, and access to cutting-edge facilities shaped my research mindset. From long hours in the lab to chai breaks and science discussions, RCB gave me the space to grow both personally and professionally. It will always feel like home and the place where my scientific journey really began.
My experience at RCB, Faridabad, was enriching and transformative. The multidisciplinary research environment, advanced labs, and supportive faculty fostered my growth in biotechnology. Hands-on training with cutting-edge techniques, along with access to a vast scientific library, made my learning holistic and impactful. The collaborative and innovative atmosphere truly prepared me for a future in research.
My time at RCB was truly inspiring. I had the chance to work alongside great scientists in a collaborative environment. The experience truly sharpened my research skills and gave me an opportunity to learn new techniques. It was a place that encouraged curiosity, growth, and meaningful scientific conversations.
I worked as CSIR Scientist Pool Scheme in the lab of Professor Deepti Jain (2019 to 2022). I am basically a microbiologist and was so happy to learn so much about proteomics. The lab and the institute is well equiped with all infrastructure and I developed a lot of scientific skills related to protein biology.
It was a valuable experience at RCB, Where i gained exposure to modern techniques and enhance my practical knowledge.
My time at RCB was both scientifically formative and personally enriching. Beyond the technical skills, RCB gave me the opportunity to grow as a collaborative and independent researcher. I was fortunate to work alongside inspiring mentors and peers (Dr. Deepti Jain & Dr. Deepak T Nair) who supported my development.
It was an amazing experience. I have learned a lot from my supervisor, and former colleagues in the lab. I gained some amazing friends who became a lot like family. I cherish these memories and hope to keep these connections strong.
My experience at RCB was enriching to say the least. It helped me develop confidence and the skill set that I believe has been tremendously helpful in my further career choices. The experience I most treasure about my time in RCB is of course the almost two years spent in the Laboratory of Dr. Deepti Jain, where I fell in love with Proteins, biochemistry and Structural Biology. It was an extraordinary and transformative time that is a big part of whoever I am today and will be of my future. My other treasured memories are my friends, the thrill of the chase and Badminton sessions.
My experience at RCB was very fruitful. It gave me a strong foundation in scientific thinking and research. I had the opportunity to do meaningful work, which led to publications, and the training I received continues to shape my career and approach to science.
My PhD at RCB in India was an incredible experience! I learned much about science, leadership, teamwork, and communication. This journey boosted my confidence, helped me grow personally, and allowed me to meet brilliant minds, make wonderful friends, and enjoy training many students. It was a fantastic experience that opened many doors for me!
I had a very good learning experience at RCB. I was a project JRF in Dr. Deepti's lab. I learnt a whole deal about proteomics, crystallography there. Both the technical and scientific training I got there helped me though out my career. I was always interested in protein nucleic acid interaction, my work at RCB helped me to retain my interest and I helped me to continue my work in the similar area in my P.hD and postdoc. In RCB I was fresh out of masters, my supervisor as well as labmates were patient with me and helped me to learn and grow.
